namor: to fill with love, fascinate

What is your favorite book or beach-read?
Daily Drop Cap by Jessica Hische.
This is a collection of musings, reviews, and commentary on Columbia, SC events, eateries, places I like, style, and politics. Hey, if I can't live in a big city, then I'll try to be cultured in my medium-sized one.
Tough to pick an all-time favorite, but I recently read The Middle Place by Kelly Corrigan, and it was phenomenal. Also loved The Road by Cormac McArthy, which is a love-it-or-hate-it kind of book, but I read it in a day. Love.
ReplyDeleteI wish I could go back to Dr. Ragan's class and re-read some of those Classics!
I have been meaning to read this book for forever. Hopefully this summer!
ReplyDeleteKeenan- Can't wait to try those books, Keenan--I tried to read The Road years ago, but should try again. And def. miss Dr. Ragan's class and the books we read!
ReplyDeleteAli- I truly do adore Love in the Time..., but it's not for everyone. Try it; it's not one of those books that I loved form the very beginning...it took a little commitment to get through it the first time I read it, but by the end, I was in love. (And keep going back for more!)
